๑۩۞۩๑ Michigan Adventure ๑۩۞۩๑
April 15th, 2008
I meant to post this closer to when it happened, but I drove to see my family in Michigan a week ago and took some cool pictures and acquired at least one annecdote
oh and I guess by family I meant WARMER MILKS

I bought this tape from them, POT 5, it has duct tape on it and when I tried to put it in my walkman the walkman’s lid just fell off, the cassette cut through it like butter

that’s about the coolest thing a tape can do, I think, and now I have to use my walkman with the lid broken off
now here’s some mics pisc of thrift stores and bathrooms

I bought these for like four bucks total: a broken transcribing machine and this crazy toy thing, hopefully I can make them do something that’s worth at least four dollars

here’s my cool dog

ANNECDOTE ALERT - I was at my dad’s house and this high school girl came to the door selling candy or something for her sports team, and when I answered the doorbell she just looked at me for a second and asked if there was a grown up home, and I was like NO and she left.
that’s all for now I guess
PCR3 is going through production issues but it’s going to be the best yet, here’s one new comic that will hopefully add context to the second part
PEACE OUT

pcr2 almost is
January 6th, 2008
It’s been just over three months since Pork Chop Robinson #1 came out, and it’s just about time for the second issue to appear. I’ve been kinda figuring on quarterly releases, one per season maybe, so I’m only a little behind for the fall 07 book. I sort of have the excuse that the NU library where I scan them has been on weird hours, and I’ve also been putting off finishing the cover. It’s done as of a few hours, though, ooooOHOOohoooooh…

There’s not going to be a minizine this time since that was a friggin pain to cut and staple and stick inside, instead it’s just going to be longer and better. Once I scan stuff on Tuesday, I’ll still have to edit and print and all that, but I’m planning on just doing all that in one day, I’ll probably get a bear to keep attacking me all day so my adrenaline-powered body will work quickly and efficiently.

PS go to Warmer Milks’ website right now and order everything you can before they sell out: http://www.warmermilks.com/ A Special Time was one of my favorite records last year! Warmer Milks are the best.

dude look at this mp3 bro
October 28th, 2007
http://brokenpants.com/bloodwaterfall/mp3s/100907-good_evening.mp3

It sounds pretty good, I think, and it goes through a bunch of different things.
The noise at the beginning is a mic running into the rng from the previous post, actually it’s the way it sounded before I soldered it, because while I haven’t really tested it a whole lot since I put it together for real, it definitely doesn’t work right. I really need to figure out what I messed up, because it sounded amazing in the breadboard. [Ed: ok maybe that first sound is something else / in addition to the rng, I forget... it's definitely in there somewhere, though]
If you look at the date you’ll notice it’s a few weeks old, but I just cut it out and encoded it and put it online, so it’s new to you. We’ve got a bunch of meandering recordings, sometimes it’s hard to pick out a discrete section, but this one is cool, give it a whirl.
