yeah you know me
June 27th, 2006
In a recent conversation with a friend, I was asked my stance on OPP. In my haste, I neglected to include a subject in my answering sentence, with disasterous results: much to my comrade’s dismay, and my own, I replied, “down with OPP” - in effect the exact opposite of my true sentiment. The mistake was soon corrected, but the incident only illustrates the ironic similitude of the affirmation that one is “cool with” something and the contrary wish to see its ruination.
In order to diminish the possiblility of further such embarrassments, I request that the Enlglish language be immediately ammended.

summer radio show
June 11th, 2006
I’m not rock md any more, but I’ll still be doing a radio show this summer.
Tuesdays, 1-4pm
That’s central time, by the way. You can listen online at wnur.org or tune in to 89.3fm if you’re near Evanston. If you want to ask a question or request something or just talk about things, you can call 847-866-WNUR or send an instant message to ‘wnurdj’. Here’s a link to some old playlists, and I’ll put the new ones up, too.
