I was playing around with two of the walkman distortion things I made, and I got some pretty neat sounds out of them. Half the time the things don’t work, often because I forgot to put the batteries in, and they don’t behave well with other effects, but when they do actually output a signal it’s usually pretty weird. The recording is just a guitar, a contact mic, and two walkmen run through my mixer, no other effects.
